About Mikayla 

Hey guys! I am an ATL native, and have been dancing since age 2! I danced through college until I got a job in sales, which made me take a step back for a few years. I realized I missed dancing, so I started taking a few classes, and realized I wanted to get back into shape. During this time I found VXN and followed it from afar. I hired a trainer, and lost 40 lbs preparing for a dance audition. While I didn't pass the audition, that year I was able to become a certified VXN instructor. It wasn't soon after that I wanted to go back into dance full time, and did! I taught lots of cardio, and lots of kids classes, but I felt I still wasn't as strong as when I was strength training. My barre and strength programs were then born at Georgia State University, and I saw results like I had NEVER seen before in my own body, and in my students!
